We received a letter from the Salvation Army Nursery, confirming that Jasper has been accepted for enrollment in Oct 2004. Registration in beginning of January.
The “interview” was more like a chat between the Head Teacher and the parents. This nursery althou provides the full pre-school education, is quite different to kindergartens. There are no tests or exams, and no gradings, but progress reports are given.
Alpha kids there are well aware of their environment/surroundings and their resources at hand, and are confident in making suggestions and requests about their nursery activities. Primary school teachers are going to absolutely hate them, possibly giving them a hard time.
The Lady has promised to do a Primary 1 orientation week for the K3 class there during the summer. It’s going to be hilarious.
