These Gadgets are not Built to Last

I have had my Buffalo WiFi AP for about 2 years now, and I am mostly happy with it.

About a few weeks ago I noticed that the WiFi network appeared to have stopped working. As the Internet routing/broadband sharing features still worked, and I was kinda busy I didn’t dig to the bottom of it. This long holiday gives me plenty of time to check these glitches out.

Looks like I might be needing a new WiFi AP.

Update (29/12 09:23): The Buffalo AP contains a standard PCMCIA WiFi card. I took the AP apart, swapped the internal card w/ my external, and the AP is working fine again. Now I need a new PCMCIA WiFi card.
