Althou the website is not updated yet, according to today’s SCMP, HKDNR will start accepting 2LD .hk domain registrations on 26 January 2004. There is no rush yet, as they will only accept trade mark owners’ applications in the first few months, followed by existing domain name owners.
tungcheehwa.hk or leungchunying.hk (hey rumours have it that he’ll be the next CE!) are good domains to get. On the other hand it seems that there are relatively strict requirements regarding submission of proof of identity, and I suppose noone wants to be visited by the MIBs in the middle of the night.
