Got a couple of complimentary tickets, so the Lady and I went to see Jade Kwan live last night.

First let me get all the bad things out of the way first:-

• She couldn’t dance.
• The band was too loud and too overwhelming for Jade.
• The sound engineer should be shot. Jade sounded muffed.
• The visual effects (i.e. those videos playing in the three big projectors) could be better.
• Priscilla was the first guest. She looked swolllen and nothing like this.

• Wrong accent for those English songs she sang.

  And the good things:-

• The band.
• She could sing.
• Maggie Fu, one of the guests, was surprisingly good.
• We got Lui Fong as one of the guests.

• We didn’t get Edwin Siu as a guest. (The organizer probably dumped him after his recent silly advert.)

  All in all, good efforts and an admirable attempt for those involved.
