Courtesy of DBS and my old man (who received two), we got a vouncher for high tea for two at Cova. It was expiring at the end of March, so we went to the one at PP yesterday.
It was crowded and noisy. We couldn’t help overhearing the aunties at the next table talking about their 20-something offsprings’ love lifes (no gang bang no fun). It appears that there are quite a few of these rich leisury folks in Hong Kong these days… I WANT TO BE ONE OF THEM!
I didn’t try any of the snacks, as they just didn’t seem all that attractive. The sweets were okay, with the normal cheese cakes and small tarts. The lemon cakes was too sour for my taste. The cookies were great. The banana mousse, althou didn’t look that good, was very nice.
At HK$138+10% per person, I doubt I will go again. Pacific Coffees or Starbucks are just more enjoyable places to be. The Lady suggested that we should have taken a cake out from the Cova bakery instead, which I totally agree.

Went there for lunch with Coffee Jim once almost 2 years ago and had their pasta set lunch which wasn’t bad. I think the it was something like $120. It maybe a slightly better deal than your tea set, but for a coffee join right in the middle of the hallway it’s still not too worthy.
As for being rich just like those ladies, be a gig. I am sure some of them would fancy your good looks…
