I’ll be keeping 7 days of backup, so the total space needed should be no more than about 6G. I don’t see much point of saving the weekly/monthly snapshots, so at this stage there is no backup beyond 7 days.
The /home directory is now 1.3G, which means that I need a DVD writer or a tape backup unit to make an offline backup.
