The Tech section in today’s Hong Kong Economic Journal has an interesting bit about Adobe’s LCP. Those fine folks at Adobe’s local office are sending out agents to visit folks who have bought and registered Adobe products to conduct checking and verification, to make sure that they have bought enough licences.
Yeah, right! Like anyone would allow an Adobe agent to touch his or her computers, let alone coming into the premises to waste his or her time. I personally would be jolly offended by this.
The number one Adobe business software is probably Adobe Acrobat. I have yet to come across any Acrobat forms at work, and the majority folks use Acrobat only for Distiller to produce PDF files, in which case, the Free PDFCreator is really excellent.
