A colleague asked me what laptop computer to get. After talking to her over her needs and requirements I recommended the IBM X series.
She bought an R series, citing the problem of the X series not having everything built-in. Having everything built-in means 3Kg to lug around. Good luck.

Your colleague ask for your support, not your opinion. Next time, ask him/her how’s in their mind and say “That is a great thing to buy.”

Now if she asked me whether the R series is any good, then she might be looking for support. She didn’t have a clue what to get when she asked me.
She has since admitted (without me provoking) that her new computer is kinda heavy. Otherwise she seems to be reasonably happy. Good for her.
