On Jasper’s 4th and 5th days of school I left soon after he finished breakfast at the kindergarten. He didn’t like it at all, and started crying for daddy. Like on previous days he was soon distracted and stopped, but after awhile he would start thinking about daddy and cry again. His appetite was good, and he went to sleep w/ no problem. On Friday he wet himself a few times and actually ran out of clean shorts (we put 2 pairs in his school rucksack). He was however very pleased to see us (me and the Lady on Thursday, and my old man on Friday) when we went to pick him up. He is also showing no sign of disliking the kindergarten.
I expect him to keep on crying for another week or two. His teachers warned us about kids at this stage becoming very attached to their parents. Jasper is more attached to us, but not excessively so.
As I didn’t pick Jasper up on Friday, I look forward to getting a more detailed update from his teacher on Monday.
