I have meant to write about this excellent comic-anime for a long time. The universe in the story is tight and interesting, and the story is dark, complex and fast paced. Educational for kids as well: losing your younger brother and your leg/arm (can’t remember which) in one experiment gone horribly wrong, and you are in pretty crappy situation, so how do you turn around and bounce back?
The anime series is actually a little bit ahead in the story than the comic (which I prefer). I have watched a couple of the episodes of the anime, which contains stuff not in the comic but is pretty irrelevant to the story.
First episode late tonight on ATV HK. Meanwhile, English version of the comic books available here. Probably of questionable legality, so grab them while they are still available. Or order the Chinese version from your local comic bookshop.
