I wonder if just plain mineral water (sans any sugar) would do the trick? Maybe not very tasty, but it doesn’t ruin the work done trying to shed off that body fat.

I suppose it’s good to maintain a reasonable blood-sugar level during and after P.T.: you don’t feel as hungry afterwards, so you don’t eat more than usual.

    This sounds reasonable.

Note that sports drinks contain more sodium than most commercial mineral water (maybe except the old Lo-Shan salty mineral water). If you put in the salt but not the sugar, that drink is going to taste absolute foul.

Decades ago, when I go hiking, I tried to mix some orange taste glucose with fine salt into my drinking water. If you get the mix correctly, it tasted just like Pocari.

Isn’t Pocari supposed to be grapefruit flavour?

To me, Pocari taste like… as the name… “sweat”. I prefer Gatorade, but I try not to drink any sports drinks unless I am very thirsty.
