My iPod is with an authorized service provider for repair. So I am borrowing the Lady’s iPod Shuffle. It sounds surprisingly good. As good as my iPod.
The iPod uses a 3.7V internal rechargable battery, and I would imagine the iPod Shuffle to be using a battery of similar voltage.

Although you no longer need an invitation to get a Gmail account, as long as you have a U.S. mobile number.
However, from the poor response I get from my GTalk invitations, it’s either not that many gmail accounts created with my invitations are in active use, or that people don’t care about yet another IM [...]
