This is Jasper’s favourite DVD. He must have watched it hundreds of times. He’s got the whole series.

We bought him a dinosaur colouring book on Monday. He asked me what colours to fill the pterosaur in. I told him that noone has actually seen a live dinosaur before, all we have found were fossils of their bones, and we have no way to tell what they actually looked like. The pictures we now have are our best educated guesses.

So he could colour them in whatever colours he fancies.

Then I remember reading about some new discoveries in China not long ago.

The latest visualisation suggests that parts of Walking with Dinosaurs, the acclaimed BBC series, cannot be seen as scientifically valid.

Yap, I had to break the news to him, that the T-Rex in the movies could look more like a giant turkey.

Damn you palaeontologists!
