  Kids are kids, boys will be boys. However, you might have been too nice to Jasper all the time rendering him not listening to you as much as you’d like him to. While you mustn’t “nail him to the wall” which could defy him any creativity, sometimes simply must put your foot down and let him know there is no possibility for him having his way in certain critical situations, then he’ll listen to you more in other less critical ones.

  TB, I am having much more problem with my Dad than I have with anyone I know, possibly all added up together, ... ever. Not only would he not listen to me, he would deliberately go opposite to my suggestions knowing damn well that I was in the right and proven to be so later.
