After a few years of extremely low birth rates in Hong Kong, it would appear that things are swinging the other way. Two cousins have just given birth, a colleague is due in September and a good friend is due in November.
Check this out. I’ve always thought that a newborn baby sleeping thru the night is a blessing to the parents, but no! At least for the first two weeks, you should wake him/her up during the night to feed, otherwise he/she could become dehydrated.

Cousin P was visiting us one evening and left his wife and 1-1/2 year old boy home. Around 21:00, his wife called to ask when he was leaving for home. By about 21:20, his wife called again and said that their boy had a fever and suggested that he should head home right away to take him to the hospital. While I too suggested he should leave, I then went on and asked him what the boy’s body temperature was…
In an unsettling and rushing way with a worried face, cousin P replied, “37.6 degree C”.
