I took the Friday off to attend my graduation ceremony.
CUHK graduates actually have two grad ceremonies to go to. The big one held by the university where they have the Chancellor and all the big wigs (on Thru) where only the PhDs get to walk up the stage, and the smaller one held by the faculty (on Friday) where everyone get to walk up the stage.
Jennifer one of our course mates attended the ceremony on Thur, and she told us that some parents were literately crying because the demonstrators were interrupting the ex-CEO so their children could not have a “perfect” ceremony.
Some folk is just such a major screw-up, he still makes people cry whereever he goes, even when he is no longer in power.
