More on the Sony CX7

The workflow sucks.
I am now deeply convinced of the usefulness of the BT wireless microphone. You could pick up much better sound by sticking that mic close to the speaker, plus any conversation between the speaker and the audience. This beats a shotgun mic. Pretty much ideal for my needs. One little nit to pick: the “wind cover” covers the on/off switch making it difficult to switch the mic on or off.
Handheld shots shake like Elvis.
Needs either a couple of FH70s or an FH100 battery cell and the charger. There is a double charger but it only charges one battery after the other, i.e. not both batteries together. Bring the single charger plus the power brick for the camcorder would enable one to charge two batteries at the same time.
Oh yeah, little button on the right hand side that switches the flash on/off.
6M pixels still photos. Quite usable.
