I had my (the other) wisdom tooth extracted last week, and took a day off resting. Between short naps I put in a total of a couple of hours of playing Half Life 2: Episode 2, and I must say it was a lot of fun.
I picked up The Ship (some killer game staged on an oceanliner) for USD5 from Stream and a Command & Conquer pack (which contains ALL the C&C games ever published, except the latest Red Alert 3) from a local game shop. I might eventually pick up Crysis from Stream. RA3 and Crysis Warhead both contain some voodoo DRM shit that I simply won’t allow it to be installed on any of my computers, so hard luck, but I have enough good games to last till around 2010.
The moral is, getting a fast 3D video card may seriously waste a lot of your time.
